Abstract

The present invention discloses a moving track data compression method and apparatus. The method comprises the steps of acquiring a moving track data flow, and filtering track points within set angle errors of M original track segments by using corresponding BQS data structures, so as to acquire M preliminarily compressed track segments; performing breadth first search (BFS) on the M preliminarily compressed track segments on a GPU platform after composition, so as to acquire an optimal path of each of the M preliminarily compressed track segments, wherein composition is within the set angle errors; and returning a compressed track data flow synthesized by optimal paths of the M preliminarily compressed track segments. The traditional track data compression method compresses the track data at low efficiency. The method solves the technical problem of the traditional method, and reduces calculation amount of BFS after composition. The execution efficiency of the algorithm is improved by multiple times due to also operation on the GPU platform, and further, the track data flow is compressed efficiently and accurately.
