The invention discloses an avermectin derivative, which is extracted and separated from Anthogorgia caerulea, and is named as 5-O-dimethyl-25-bis(1-methylpropyl)-25-(1-methylbutyl)avermectin Ala. Tests indicate that the EC50 value of the avermectin derivative Blc on ustilago scitaminea MAT-1 and MAT-2 matching basidiospore proliferation is far less than a positive control azoxystrobin suspending agent, and has good avermectin derivative inhibition activity. The compound Blc is a marine natural active component, also is easily soluble in methanol and ethanol, and has good alcohol affinity, thus being applicable individually or in combination to preparation of efficient biopesticides for control of sugarcane ustilago. The invention provides a new use for development of avermectin derivatives, and provides a new source for preparation of novel pesticides inhibiting ustilago scitaminea.
