Natural mineral substances ground into powder at high temperature, modified natural polymers, and one or various inorganic polymer compositions of polymerized ferric sulfate, polymerized aluminium chloride and polymerized aluminum ferric sulfate are mixed into the water treatment agent at normal temperature. The invention also discloses a use method of the efficient water treatment agent. Contaminants such as COD, heavy metal, total phosphorus, oil stain, SS and turbidity in various kinds of sewage can be removed; the decontamination speed is extremely fast; the effect is excellent; the removal rate can reach 80 percent to 95 percent; the influence of water temperature and pH value is little; flocculates formed after treatment cannot easily smash; the dehydration property is good; the transparency of the treated water is extremely high; the reutilization can be realized.
