A specific implementation manner of the method comprises the following steps of: receiving a paging request, for contents of M databases, of a client, wherein the paging request comprises a page number N, a paging record number K and a query condition, and M, N and K are natural numbers; obtaining number records of each database, wherein each number record is a line number of the last line or records, extracted in a database corresponding to the number record, in K lines of records of a page, the page number of which is N-1; extracting K lines of records satisfying the query condition in the database corresponding to each number record from the next line of the number record; merging the K lines of records obtained in each database, and sorting the merged M*K lines or records according to a predetermined sorting condition; and taking the first K lines of records after the sorting as a paging result set, and sending response information to the client, wherein the response information comprises the paging result set. According to the method, paged displayed can be carried out on the contents of multiple databases in real time.
