Embodiments of the present invention provide a facial expression migration method and an electronic device, and belong to the field of image processing. The facial expression migration method comprises: acquiring a frontal facial expressionless characteristic point parameter corresponding to a user; acquiring a user facial characteristic point parameter from an instant video frame; and calculating the deviation between the user facial characteristic point parameter and the frontal facial expressionless characteristic point parameter corresponding to the user; according to the deviation, calculating a new position of the characteristic point of a standard face model; and driving a target image according to the new position of the characteristic point of the standard face model. According to the technical scheme of the present invention, by introducing a standard face model, the adverse effect on facial expression migration due to the different face shapes and other facial characteristics of users can be reduced.
