Abstract

The embodiments of the present invention provide a method and apparatus for configuring sounding reference signals. The method includes the following steps that: a base station determines the moving speed of user equipment (UE); the base station determines a UE-level sub-frame configuration set from a plurality of UE-level SRS (sounding reference signal) sub-frame configuration sets corresponding to an adopted cell-level SRS sub-frame configuration set according to the moving speed of the UE and determines a UE-level SRS sub-frame configuration parameter from the determined UE-level sub-frame configuration set, wherein the UE-level SRS sub-frame configuration parameter is used for indicating sub-frames used for sending the SRSs; and the base station sends the UE-level SRS sub-frame configuration parameter and the indication information of the UE-level sub-frame configuration set to the UE.
