Abstract

The invention discloses a system and method for positioning the depth of a well drilling tracer through magnetic signals. The system comprises a plurality of magnetic marks, a magnetic sensor and a controller, wherein the magnetic marks are arranged on a drill column with preset spacing distances and used for generating the magnetic field signals, the magnetic sensor is arranged inside the tracer and used for sensing the magnetic field signals and generating level signals corresponding to a magnetic field, and the controller is arranged inside the tracer and used for collecting the level signals so that the depth of the tracer in a well can be obtained through calculation according to the number and collecting time of the level signals and the spacing distances of the magnetic marks. According to the system and method for positioning the depth of the well drilling tracer through the magnetic signals, the position of the tracer in a wellbore can be obtained, and therefore the temperature and pressure inside the wellbore are accurately evaluated.
