The invention provides a method for locating error positions in systems and equipment thereof. The system comprises a plurality of components which have respective interfaces. The method comprises the following steps of: acquiring data and parameters of each interface; carrying out interface classification and business assembly by using the acquired data and parameters according to a predetermined rule, so as to establish a direct networking relationship between each interface and the system; and carrying out interface detection on each interface according to the direct networking relationship, so as to determine at which interfaces do errors of systems occur. According to the method, testers can directly and automatically locate the problem occurrence positions without locating the problems through layer-by-layer advancement, so that the time is saved and the whole team research, development and test efficiency is improved.
