Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of piston ring detection and more particularly to a piston ring opening gap detection device and method. The detection device includes an auxiliary cylinder having a cylindrical shape and a hollow interior. The upper side surface of the auxiliary cylinder is provided with a handheld lever.
