Abstract

The invention relates to an IPv6 stateless address allocation method and device. The IPv6 stateless address allocation method comprises the steps of: when a router solicitation message from first userequipment is received, obtaining the MAC address of the first user equipment; according to the MAC address of the first user equipment, determining the access permission corresponding to the first user equipment; according to the access permission corresponding to the first user equipment, determining the network prefix information matched with the access permission corresponding to the first user equipment; and, sending a first router advertisement message including the network prefix information to the first user equipment, so that the first user equipment performs IPv6 address allocation according to the network prefix information. By means of the IPv6 stateless address allocation method and device disclosed by the invention, user equipment different in permission can be authorized toaccess to a network through the network prefix information in gateway configuration; the user equipment different in permission does not need to be accessed to the network through a DHCP server; and thus, the networking architecture is relatively simple.
