The light guide plate includes an upper surface, a lower surface, a light incident surface and three sidesurfaces. The light incident surface faces a light source. The sides, connected with the light incident surface, of the upper surface and the lower surface are inclined to be gradually close to each other in the direction towards to the light source to form a chamfered structure. The upper surface of the light guide plate is provided with an optical coating. The surface of a side, away from the upper surface of the light guide plate, of the optical coating is coated with a coating containing a photoluminescent material. Some light rays that do not satisfy total internal reflection can stratifythe total internal reflection in virtue of the optical coating and the inclined plane so as to prevent a bright band on a light incident side in the side-type backlight and make the brightness of thedisplay screen uniform.
