Abstract

The invention discloses an LED drive circuit and a control circuit and control method for the LED drive circuit. A sinusoidal half-wave signal which is the same as input AC in frequency and phase is obtained through a phase-locked loop and a switching control signal is generated to control a power stage circuit, so that a peak of inductive current follows the sinusoidal half-wave signal. The sinusoidal half-wave signal is the same as the input AC in frequency and phase, so that the peak of the inductive current is essentially the same as the input AC in frequency and phase, thereby obtaining arelatively high power factor and relatively low total harmonic distortion. Meanwhile, an amplitude of the sinusoidal half-wave signal does not change along with the amplitude of the input AC, so thatoutput current can be kept stable, and mutation, caused by grid fluctuation, in output current is effectively prevented.
