Abstract

The invention provides a skin-whitening and spot-fading additive used for cosmetics and a preparation method and application of the skin-whitening and spot-fading additive. The skin-whitening and spot-fading additive used for cosmetics comprises the following components in percentages by weight: 10% to 35% of alcohol, 14% to 65% of calamine, 3% to 15% of vitamin C ethylether, 1% to 15% of arbutinand 1% to 10% of diglucosyl gallic acid. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) dissolving arbutin, vitamin C ethylether and diglucosyl gallic acid into a part of alcohol to obtaina solution A; (2) dissolving calamine into remaining alcohol for stirring dispersion to obtain a solution B; and (3) uniformly mixing the solution A with the solution B to obtain the additive. The activity of tyrosinase in skin can be effectively inhibited, and the formation of melanin is blocked, so that the additive has the effects of spot fading and skin whitening and is safe and reliable.
