Abstract

The invention discloses a customer churn prediction method and device and relates to the data processing field. The customer churn prediction method comprises the following steps: customer data is classified, the customer data is labeled as churned customers and non-churned customers, partial customer data is extracted from each class of customer data, a classifying model is trained according to characteristics of the extracted customer data, and a classifier is obtained and used for predicting whether customers to be tested will be churned. The classifying model used for predicting whether the customers will be churned is trained via classification of the customer data and extraction of the partial customer data from each class, characteristics of original customer data can be fully reflected by the data used for training the classifying model, and whether the customers will be churned can be accurately predicted.
