Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a method of manufacturing a capacitive electrical device. The method includes: a) combining a first electrically insulating film with a second electrically insulating film to obtain a single electrically insulating film having a greater electrical power than either of the first electrically insulating film and the second electrically insulating film The insulating film alone has a larger surface area, b) providing a conductive layer on the single electrically insulating film, and c) wrapping the single electrically insulating film and the conductive layer around the shaft to obtain a single layer of the single electrical insulating film wound onto the shaft.
