Abstract

A pile joint unit comprises: a female body having a bolt portion formed on one side thereof to be bolt-mounted on a fixing female screw of a pile or a connection steel plate; and a male body having abolt portion formed on the other side thereof. The male body comprises a wedge portion of a wedge shape and a locking groove portion of a groove shape sequentially formed from one thereof. The femalebody comprises: a male body groove portion into which the male body is inserted from the other side thereof; a locking pin corresponding to the locking groove portion of the male body inserted into the male body groove portion; and a locking pin portion having a spring to push the pocking pin to the locking groove portion. A number of the pile joint units to be used in connecting two piles to be connected is calculated according to diameters and strength of the two piles. The male and female bodies of the calculated pile joint units are bolt-mounted on fixing female screws or connection steelplates. Then the male bodies are fitted into the male body groove portions by the weights of the piles to connect the two piles by the locking pin wherein the locking groove portion is locked to easily mount on the fixing female screws of the piles and the connection steel plates by bolt mounting. The female and the male body are easily connected by fitting. A number of the pile joint units can bechanged according to piles of various diameters and required strength of pile connection to reduce costs of joints used in pile connection.
