The method comprises the steps of setting multiple disks in the RAID system to raw mirror images for storing configuration data of the RAID system; storing metadata for the raw mirror images in the multiple disks, in which the metadata stored in each diskincludes an identifier for identifying the disk belonging to the raw mirror image and a serial number for identifying write operation on blocks storing the metadata in the disk; and controlling read-write on the raw mirror images based on the metadata.
