The embodiments of the invention disclose a character string filtering method and a related device. An interface filtering device is configured for a network node; the interface filtering device includes first and second filtering components storing character strings and character string prefixes of data related to the network node; the interface filtering device can receive an acquisition requestsent by a data requester prior to the network node and matches a to-be-identified character string carried in the acquisition request based on the character strings and the character string prefixesstored; and if the to-be-identified character string matches any one of the character strings or character string prefixes in the interface filtering device, the requested data in the acquisition request is determined to relate to the network node. Therefore, the interface filtering device can effectively filter out an acquisition request for acquiring data unrelated to the network node and attempt to ensure that the data, requested from the acquisition request, to be processed by the network node relates to the network node, so as to improve utilization of the processing resources on the network node.
