Abstract

The invention discloses a RSU deployment method and system based on vehicle sociability of the internet of vehicles. The method comprises the following steps: mining a community structure according toreal vehicle data, extracting the communication frequency between the vehicles based on a communication range of an onboard unit OBU, performing community partition on the vehicles to obtain a communication frequency diagram; distributing a weight for each community according to the size of the main community scale after obtaining the communication frequency diagram, wherein the vehicles in the community automatically have the weight of the community; partitioning a deployment region Omega in which the RSU is required to deploy into multiple candidate regions, defining the sum of the vehiclecommunity values of all passed vehicles in one candidate region as the regional community value, computing the regional community value of each candidate region, and finally selecting an appropriate deployment region by using a greedy algorithm.
