A converter comprises a transformer, a master switch, an active clamping circuit, a synchronous rectification switch and a processing circuit, wherein the transformer comprises a primary side windingand a secondary side winding and is used for outputting a voltage to a load, the master switch is electrically coupled to the primary side winding, the active clamping circuit is used for clamping a cross voltage of the master switch when the master switch is cutoff, the active clamping circuit comprises an auxiliary switch, the synchronous rectification switch is electrically coupled to the secondary side winding, and the processing circuit is used for judging whether the synchronous rectification switch is in a master conduction period or a slave conduction period or not according to first voltage signals of two ends of the synchronous rectification switch and a detection signal in the converter and correspondingly outputting a driving signal to control the synchronous rectification switch.
