The method comprises the steps of determining fluid and solid regions in a space of an arc extinguishing chamber of the circuit breaker and opening and closing positions of the free valve plate, modeling the arc extinguishing chamber and the valve plate, and converting a circuit breaker productstructure into a gas flow field computing model; performing mesh division processing on arc extinguishing chamber and valve plate models of the circuit breaker, matching a relationship between the opening and closing positions of the valve plate and the mesh width, and establishing a gas flow field simulation equation set; importing an action criterion PF of the valve plate and an action threshold +/-delta% of the valve plate to the computing model and the gas flow field simulation equation set for performing simultaneous solving of the equation set; performing dynamic simulation of a gas flow field according to the simultaneous solving, monitoring stress conditions of two side surfaces of the valve plate in real time, determining an action trend of the valve plate according to the actioncriterion PF and the action threshold +/-delta%, and by adopting mesh fluid and solid attribute replacement and valve boundary replacement technologies, realizing opening and closing motion simulation of the valve plate.
