Abstract

The invention discloses a peak focusing display device and method. The device comprises a detection module, an acquisition module and a display module; in a peak focusing mode, the detection module detects a first area with the highest contrast in a shot image; the acquisition module acquires a display image in a pre-set area by taking the first area with the highest contrast in the shot image asthe centre; and the display module amplifies the acquired display image, and then, displays the acquired display image on the shot image, wherein the first area with the highest contrast and/or a second area with the highest contrast on the amplified display image is displayed in a highlighted manner. By means of the scheme in the embodiment of the invention, after the acquired display image is amplified and displayed, an image in a highlighted area in peak focusing is clearer; whether focusing is accurate or not can be accurately judged by a user conveniently; and thus, the user experience isimproved.
