According to the energy-saving screw press system, two groups of screw pair mechanisms, namely a first screw pair mechanism and a second screw pair mechanism, are distributed on two sides of a press; the first screw pair mechanism is composed of a first cylinder, a first lead screw, a first sliding block and afirst anti-rotation device; the second screw pair mechanism is composed of a second cylinder, a second lead screw, a second sliding block and a second anti-rotation device; the first lead screw is directly driven by a main motor through a synchronous belt; the second lead screw is driven by the main motor and an auxiliary motor through the synchronous belt after the motion synthesis by a differential gear system; the motion characteristics of the first sliding block and the second sliding block are detected and acquired through a first displacement sensor and a second displacement sensor in aone-to-one correspondence manner, and transferred to a controller; and the controller is utilized for controlling the working states of both the main motor and the auxiliary motor.
