Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of video editing, and specifically relates to a method for improving video spatial resolution. Video super-resolution is an important branch of the computer visual field. According to the video super-resolution technology, a video of higher resolution is reconstructed by using local association information in each frame of a video and related information of adjacent frames. According to the method, both local redundancy information of internal pixels of a current frame and time dimension association of previous and next adjacent frames are considered, so as to acquire lost high-frequency detail information of a low resolution video to restore content of an original video frame, thereby increasing video resolution and enriching detail texture. Experimental results show that the method improves the video resolution effectively, so that the video is clearer and has higher visual quality, has richer content and has higher research and application values.
