[0039] In order to confirm the dustproof effect of a dustproof composition containing a negatively charged substance as an active ingredient, a dustproof composition containing a negatively charged substance which is at least one of an emulsion stabilizer and a thickener was prepared. Specifically, compositions containing some of the various candidate substances shown in Table 1 below and ingredients listed in Table 2 below were prepared. A composition containing neither anionic emulsion stabilizer nor thickener was used as a negative control. A negative control composition further containing a cationic emulsion stabilizer was used as a positive control. The negative control composition further containing an anionic emulsion stabilizer is referred to as Example 1. The composition of Example 1 further containing an anionic thickener is referred to as Example 2.

Abstract

This specification discloses a dust-proof composition containing an anionic emulsion stabilizer or thickener. Specifically, the negatively charged substance contained in the dustproof composition as an active ingredient has the same negative charge zeta potential as dust, and thus can minimize the adhesion of dust on the skin surface by electrostatic force.
