The light beam deflection device enables modulated sub-image lights to be incident into incident angles of diffraction planes corresponding to the sub-image lights within the diffraction angle bandwidths of the corresponding diffraction planes and enables the modulated sub-image lights to be incident to the incident angles of the diffraction planes non-corresponding to the sub-image lights outside the diffraction angle bandwidths of the non-corresponding diffraction planes. The diffraction plane reflects and converges the sub-image lights of which the respective incident angle is within the diffraction angle bandwidth to form to-be-displayed sub-images in human eyes. After the image display device outputs all the sub-image lights of the to-be-displayed image, the to-be-displayed sub-images formed in the human eyes can be spliced into the to-be-displayed image in user vision.
