The method comprises the steps that a student and an elective course selected by the student are randomly selected; an elective course class is created; a teacher and a classroom are arranged for the class, and the class time is arranged; all students are traversed; if the elective course class of the student exists, the student is added to the existing elective course class; and if the elective course class of the student does not exist, a new class is created, and a teacher, a classroom and the class time are arranged. The method has the advantages that various constraints are comprehensively considered; the existing teachers and teaching environment are fully used to search for the optimal plan; an operation algorithm is used to arrange courses, so as to generate the elective course class and a class scheduling plan; and through scene rehearsing, available elective course combination is analyzed under the restrictions of the existing teachers and teaching environment.
