Abstract

The invention relates to thermochromic aluminum silicate glass and a preparation method thereof. The thermochromic aluminum silicate glass is characterized by being prepared from, by weight, 55%-72% of SiO2, 15%-24% of Al2O3, 0%-7% of B2O3, 0-8% of K2O, 0-4% of MgO, 0-1% of CaO, 2-15% of Na2O and 0.8-8% of VO2. The preparation method includes: (1) material preparation; (2) mixing and ball millingfor 0.25-0.5h to well mix materials; (3) melting, to be more specific, melting in a melting furnace, heating to 1000 DEG C at a speed of 5-10DEG C/min, then heating to a melting temperature of 1300-1600 DEG C at a speed of 3-5DEG C/min, and keeping the temperature for 2-5h to obtain glass liquid; (4) forming, to be more specific, quickly pouring the glass liquid into a stainless steel plate mouldto realize forming; (5) annealing, to be more specific, keeping the temperature at 650 DEG C for 3-6h, and subjecting a glass sample to furnace cooling to the room temperature.
