Abstract

The invention relates to a composition with an oral health-care function, and application and a preparation method thereof. The composition comprises, by weight, 0.01-2 parts of Melaleuca alternifoliaessential oil and 0.02-5 parts of arnica. The composition may further comprise one or more selected from the group consisting of Salvia officinalis, thyme leaf extract, mulberry leaves, chrysanthemumflowers, kudzu vine roots, Radix Bupleuri, Radix Scutellariae, coptis, Herba Andrographitis, honeysuckle flowers, dandelion and sodium guaiazulene sulfonate. According to the invention, through utilization of different medicinal mechanisms of the different components and full performance of the synergistic interaction effect of the components, the prepared composition can prevent and assist in the treatment of tooth sensitivity and inhibit the formation of dental plaque; and the composition can prevent tooth sensitivity, protect gums and the like while inhibiting a plurality of oral bacterialike Helicobacter pylori.
