Abstract

The invention discloses a serial bus communication method with a handshaking mechanism. The method comprises the following steps of: firstly, connecting a primary device with all the secondary devicesthrough data transceiving lines, and connecting each secondary device with other secondary devices through handshake signal lines; secondly, directly sending instruction data with address codes to the secondary devices through the data transceiving lines; and thirdly, monitoring handshake signals on the handshake signal lines by the secondary devices, and sensing data to the primary device through the data transceiving lines according to the handshake signals. According to the method, the defect that the quantity of serial ports of the primary device is limited is overcome; the serial ports of the primary device can be connected with serial ports of the plurality of secondary devices, and the secondary devices are connected through the handshake signal lines, so that one-to-many and many-to-one ordered communication between the primary device and the plurality of secondary devices and between the plurality of secondary devices are realized.
