Problems solved by technology

[0005] 1. With the development of electronic technology, the miniaturization and sealing of relay protection devices is the trend, and too many private interfaces will not be retained. For example, the latest in-situ protection device is a black box to the outside world, and it is not allowed to be installed after installation. Disassemble the device so that it cannot be upgraded using proprietary interfaces and protocols such as programmers and USB
[0006] 2. These upgrade methods are not convenient for unified management. After the upgrade, there is no traceable upgrade record and upgrade process in the device, and more manual means are needed to record the change history of the device version number
[0008] 1. At present, the application specification of IEC61850 in China does not model the device debugging function. It is necessary to flexibly use the scalability of the IEC61850 data model to expand the model stipulated in the existing standard of IEC61850. At the same time, it is necessary to select the appropriate IEC61850 service to ensure the program upgrade Reliability and Security

Embodiment Construction

[0053] Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0054] The method for online upgrading the program of a relay protection device based on the 61850 protocol comprises the following steps:

[0055] Step 1. Extend the IEC61850 data model, use the logical node type with the extension name BUPD to represent the program upgrade function, and use the data object type with the extension name STS to represent the string status and store the program upgrade history. IEC61850 specification 7-4 specifies many logical nodes, which are used to represent various functions or devices in the current power system. The logical nodes provided in these standards can meet most of the current application requirements, but traversing all logical nodes in the standard Definition, no program update related information. The present invention makes full use of the expansibility of the data model of IEC61850 to create a new lo...

Abstract

A method for on-line upgrading a relay protection device program based on a 61850 protocol is provided, which comprises the following steps: firstly, the IEC61850 data model is extended to represent the program upgrade function with the logical node type whose extension name is BUPD, and to represent the string state with the data object type whose extension name is STS, which is used to store theprogram upgrade history; the relay protection device program is then upgraded through the IEC61850 client using the extended IEC61850 data model. The invention can upgrade the program conveniently byusing the IEC61850 protocol under the condition that the device seal has no private interface exposure. The relay protection device stores the program version online upgrade records into files, and supports the client to retrieve them through the IEC61850 protocol, which greatly reduces the workload of manual recording and retrieval, and solves the problems that the upgrade history records of thetraditional upgrade procedures are inconvenient to trace, and the software version is inconvenient to manage.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of power system automation, and in particular relates to a method for online upgrading of a relay protection device program based on the 61850 protocol. Background technique [0002] The IEC61850 standard is the only global general standard in the field of power system automation. It realizes the standardization of engineering operation of smart substations, makes the engineering implementation of smart substations standardized, unified and transparent, and solves the problems between substation relay protection devices and Interoperability challenges between protection relays and backends. [0003] At present, the IEC61850 standard is widely used in the field of intelligent substation communication in my country. The communication ports of the relay protection devices of various manufacturers all support the IEC61850 protocol. With the continuous deepening of the understanding of the standard, the specifi...
