Abstract

Provided by the present invention are a locking mechanism and an injection molding machine provided with same. The locking mechanism is used for preventing a movable platen from being switched from an opening state to a clamping state. The locking mechanism comprises: a connecting member used for connecting with the movable platen and provided with engagement grooves; a locking portion, the position thereof being adjustable such that the locking portion has a locking state for engaging with the engagement grooves and a releasing state for disengaging from the engagement grooves; and a driving component in driving connection with the locking portion, so as to drive the locking portion to be switched between the locking state and the releasing state. The locking mechanism of the present invention solves the problem in the prior art of safety risks with movable platens.
