The method includes the steps: judging whether users enter an induction areaof the front of an advertising play device or not; arranging a camera on the advertising play device, and acquiring video streams of the users entering the induction area through the camera in real time; judging whether faces are detected in the video streams or not; tracing human images and automatically adjusting the advertising play device angles by the advertising play device when the faces are detected in the video streams. According to the method, advertising play device angles needing to be adjusted in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction are calculated according to position parameters of the faces and current camera angle information, the directions of the advertising play device are automatically adjusted through simultaneous rotation of rotating mechanisms in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction. According to the method, the faces of the users in front of the advertising play device are automatically detected, the advertising play device angles are automatically adjusted according to tracing results of the human images, and advertisement injecting and playing effects are improved.
