Abstract

The present invention provides a rotor comprising: a cylindrical rotor core; and a plurality of magnets arranged to surround the outer peripheral surface of the rotor core, wherein the magnet has an inner peripheral surface that contacts the outer peripheral surface of the rotor core, and, provided that a first angle is obtained by dividing the angle defined by the outer peripheral surface of therotor core by the number of the magnets, a second angle is defined by first and second extension lines that extend from both end points of the inner peripheral surface of the magnets to the center point of the rotor core on a section across the rotor core and the magnets, and the ratio of the second angle with regard to the first angle is 0.87-0.93. Advantageously, the width of the magnets is reduced, and the coating main degree is doubled, thereby substantially reducing the cogging torque.
