Benefits of technology

This patented technology allows researchers to analyze how many genes are involved with bovine meat production (BM). By analyzing these genes correctly or at least within certain limits, they may help predict future BMO growth rates better than traditional methods such as measuring body weight gain or feed efficiency.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical problem addressed in this patents relates to how accurate detection of genes related to milk production in cattle or sheep may help researcher better understanding factors like feed intake for improved efficiency and productivity in farming operations.

Embodiment Construction

[0020] In order to enable those skilled in the art to better understand the solution of the present invention, the technical solution of the present invention will be further described below in conjunction with specific examples.

[0021] A method for detecting bovine muscle HSL gene expression, the specific steps are as follows:

[0022] 1) Design the specific primer pair H-F and H-R of the HSL gene sequence and the primer pair G-F and G-R of the internal reference gene:

[0023] Referring to the HSL gene sequence (Genbank Accession No.NM-001080220) recorded in Genbank, and the internal reference gene GAPDH (Genbank Accession No.0NM-001034034), primers were designed using Primer Premier 3.0 software, and the specificity of the primers was tested through the Blast function in NCBI .

[0024] H-F: 5'-GATGAGAGGGTAATTGCCG-3', see SEQ NO.1 in the sequence listing.

[0025] H-R: 5'-GGATGGCAGGTGTGAACT-3', see SEQ NO.2 in the sequence listing.

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for detecting HSL gene expression in bovine muscle. Through designing HSL gene specific primer pairs, amplification of internal primers of GAPDH qPCR, and the relativequantitative analysis to the result of the qPCR, the method for detecting HSL gene expression in the bovine muscle accurately and rapidly analysis the HSL gene expression in the bovine muscle. The established qPCR method for detecting HSL gene expression level can be used to accurately detect the HSL gene expression level of different cattle muscle. The method can be used to detect the expressionlevel of the bovine muscle HSL gene in different breeds, providing a reference for in-depth study of bovine HSL gene function. The method is easy and simple to operate.
