The method comprises the following steps of selecting the donor and the acceptor of a triplet-triplet annihilation up-conversion system; dissolving the donor and the acceptor in a solvent, taking the equal quantity of obtained solution and adding into the plurality of containers, and removing air in the solution; adding H<+> or OH<-> to each container so that the pH value of the solution in each container is known and is arranged in a gradient, and the testing the up-conversion luminescence condition of the solution in each container; and calculating the integral area of the up-conversion luminescence of the solution in each container, and obtaining a linear relationship between the integrated area of the up-conversion luminescence and the pH value, and according to the linear relationship, detecting the pH value of the solution to be detected through the up-conversion luminescence.
