Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a method and a device of realizing QOS (Quality of Service) strategies, and relates to the field of data communication. The method and the device can realizethe refined QOS strategies for different users. The method includes: pre-configuring a strategy template, wherein the strategy template includes strategy classes for the different L2TP (Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol) users, and the strategy classes respectively correspond to the different QOS strategies; respectively configuring corresponding matching templates for the strategy classes, wherein the matching templates include matching rules; applying the strategy template to a virtual template interface; and traversing the strategy classes in the strategy template of the virtual template interfaceafter receiving a message of any L2TP session, and when it is determined that the matching templates corresponding to the strategy classes have a matching rule matching with the message of the L2TP session, applying a QOS strategy in a strategy class, which corresponds to a matching template where the matching rule matching with the same is located, to an L2TP user corresponding to the L2TP session.
