The invention provides a kernel object access method and device for an embedded operating system, and the method comprises the steps: responding to a kernel object access request sent by a user subsystem, and searching a path link of a functional subsystem to which a to-be-accessed kernel object belongs according to an object name of the to-be-accessed kernel object; and accessing the to-be-accessed kernel object under the first path corresponding to the path link. According to the embodiment of the invention, the path link used for accessing the kernel objects in other functional subsystems is added in the user subsystem, so that the user subsystem has the authority to access the kernel objects in other functional subsystems, and the development efficiency of developers on the system is further improved.
