Abstract

The invention provides an emergency evacuation oriented trunk ramp control method and a system thereof. The method and the system determine a corresponding ramp control strategy in real time accordingto the evacuation state of a trunk traffic network based on a trunk ramp control calculation model. Therefore the method and the device do not require data prediction. Only through real-time evacuation data, the vehicle entering rate of each inlet ramp in the trunk traffic network and the flow of each road section in the trunk traffic network can be updated according to the ramp control strategy,and a clearing time length of the trunk traffic network is calculated and output. The emergency evacuation oriented trunk ramp control method and the system thereof have advantages of simple calculating step, practical control mode, no requirement for establishment of an optimizing model, and low calculation amount. The emergency evacuation oriented trunk ramp control method and the system thereof further perform functions of reducing system clearing time, and endowing high-risk population of relatively high passing right as possible through setting the ramp control strategy.
