The intelligent cup base comprises a pressure sensor, a clock chip, a single chip microcomputer and a display module; the single chip microcomputer canmonitor the descending situation of a water amount of a water cup through a pressure sensor so as to determine the water drinking amount of a user and can determine whether the water drinking amountof the user within a current time section satisfies a preset threshold or not by combining a preset threshold of the water drinking amount corresponding to each time section, namely an amount of waterwhich should be drunk by the user within each time section, and combining a total water drinking amount reducing value within the current time section; and a result of whether the current water drinking amount reaches the preset threshold or not is displayed by using the display module. Therefore, the intelligent cup base disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the water drinking amount can be determined, and whether the water drinking amount satisfies the preset threshold or not can be determined according to the time section, therefore, the water drinking reminding is more effective and accurate.
