Abstract

The invention discloses a dielectric waveguide filter and a tuning method thereof. The dielectric waveguide filter comprises: a dielectric block comprising a plurality of regions, wherein each regionis one resonator, at least one resonator has a through hole, the dielectric block has a first surface and a second surface which are opposite, the through hole penetrates the first surface and the second surface; the through hole is configured to regulate the frequency of the resonator where the through hole is located; and a first port and a second port which are arranged at the first surface, wherein the first port and the second port are arranged at the surfaces of different resonators, one of the first surface and the second surface is used as an input end, and the other one thereof is used as an output port. According to the technical scheme, the shape rules of the dielectric waveguide filter reduces the manufacturing process difficulty with no need for changing of the size of the dielectric block.
