Abstract

The invention discloses a machine tool translation shaft position correlated error identifying method based on ball bar measurement. The method comprises the following steps: comprehensive error models of a cutter ball center of a ball bar moving on XY, XZ and YZ planes are respectively built; the ball bar measurement is performed on the XY, XZ and YZ planes to obtain ball bar length variables ineach arc position; the non-integral exponent polynomial prefitting is performed on position correlated errors of X, Y and Z axles; and the comprehensive error models of each plane are combined to solve each coefficient of non-integral exponent polynomials to realize identification of position correlated errors. The method is high in measuring precision, quick and convenient to operate and low in cost, and can accurately identify the position correlated errors of numerical control machine tool translation shafts.
