Abstract

The invention provides a short-term load prediction method and device for a power system. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining an observation day input variable and preprocessing the observation day input variable; predicting the correlation coefficient of the temperature and the load based on an expert system; and determining a load prediction value of each time point of the powersystem prediction day according to the preprocessed observation day input variable and a temperature and load correlation coefficient predicted by the expert system. The invention can effectively improve the short-term load prediction precision of the power system.
