Abstract

An ink jet recording apparatus comprises: a nozzle for forming ink particles; a charging electrode for charging the ink particles; a deflecting electrode for deflecting the charged ink particles; a printing head for causing the deflected ink particles to be ejected and printed on a print object; and a collecting member for collecting floating ink, the collecting member being arranged between the printing head and the print object and having an opening part for causing the ink particles ejected from the printing head to pass therethrough.
