The absorption roller is characterized in that an air suction mainpipe and an air suction branch pipe are arranged in a drum; the air suction branch pipe is inserted into the air suction main pipe; the air suction main pipe is capable of sliding along the air suction branch pipe; a vent hole is formed in the air suction branch pipe; the air suction branch pipe communicates with the air suction main pipe through the vent hole; a sealing sleeve sleeving the air suction branch pipe is fixed on the air suction main pipe; and the sealing sleeve is capable of sliding to a position for blocking the vent hole and a position for opening the vent hole. The absorptionroller and the machining device used for a sheet product and provided with the absorption roller have the advantages that when the absorption roller needs to be controlled to stop the absorption function, no negative pressure is formed in the drum outside the suction main pipe, so that suction holes in the roller surface completely lose the absorption capacity to ensure normal operation of the device; and on the other hand, a supporting piece for supporting the air suction main pipe does not need to be arranged in the drum, enough space is reserved in the drum to enable the pipe diameter of the air suction main pipe to be larger so as to increase the flow rate of the adsorption gas and improve the adsorption effect.
