The method comprises the following steps: determining at least one similar historical service of a monitored service from a historical service set through employing a similarity model, and calculating the prediction progress information of the monitored service according to the atleast one similar historical service; acquiring actual progress information of the monitored service by utilizing the program burying points; and the progress of the monitored service is monitored bycomparing the actual progress information with the predicted progress information. By means of the method, the prediction progress information of the monitored service to be executed can be predictedaccording to the historical service, and then whether the actual progress of the monitored service is abnormal or not can be judged more accurately.
