Abstract

The invention discloses a human travel selection information mining method based on traffic travel data, which mainly includes proposing a general traffic selection model considering individual utility optimization, and a parameter estimation and analysis method corresponding to the model. Based on the transportation choice model, using the easily obtained traffic data such as automobiles, the non-linear fitting method is used to estimate the parameters and reveal the distribution of the overall human travel needs and the selection characteristics of walking, automobiles and airplanes. The analysis results can be used for comparison between cities and countries, as well as for the planning of urban and national transportation facilities. Adopting this information mining method can effectively avoid the high cost and low reliability problems of large-scale surveys on the population.
