The lane changing method comprises thesteps: obtaining the road condition information of a road where the vehicle is located, wherein the road condition information comprises a speed limit value of a lane where the vehicle is located, the speed of a front vehicle, a speed limit value of an adjacent lane and vehicle information of the adjacent lane, and the front vehicle is a vehicle which is located in the lane where the vehicle is located and located in front of the vehicle; determining whether to generate a lane changing intention or not according to the road condition information; and after it is determined that the lane changing intention is generated, when it is judged that the vehicle meets a preset lane changing condition, controlling the vehicle to execute lane changing according to the lane changing intention.
