The method comprises the steps: a trigger instruction of a hybrid mode switch is received; the allowable continuous charging power of a power battery is obtained; if the allowable continuous charging power is greater than or equal to the idling power generation power of a fuel cell engine, the fuel cell engine is started; if the allowable continuous charging power is smaller than the idling power generation power and the power battery is in a heating state, heating power is obtained; if the sum of the heating power and the allowable continuous charging power is greater than or equal to the idling power generation power, the fuel cell engine is started; whether the fuel cell engine meets a preset shutdown condition or not is determined; and if the fuel cell engine meets a preset shutdown condition, the fuel cell engine is stopped.
