Abstract

The invention relates to a quality signal tracking device and method. The device comprises a conveying device, a control switch and a controller. The conveying device corresponds to one control switch; the control switch is connected to the controller, the conveying device is used for detecting a to-be-detected glass substrate when the glass substrate enters an input port of conveying equipment, executing a corresponding processing procedure on the to-be-detected glass substrate, and conveying the to-be-detected glass substrate to an output port of the conveying equipment after the processingprocedure is finished; the control switch is used for sending a control signal to the controller, the controller is used for receiving the control signal, determining a quality signal according to thecontrol signal if the control signal is received, and determining the quality signal and outputting the quality signal according to a historical quality signal output by a previous transmission device if the control signal is not received. The quality of each glass substrate can be switched on the premise of not interrupting the conveying device such that the conveying device continuously processes the glass substrates with different qualities, and the production efficiency of the glass substrates is improved.
